History

Action for Social Awareness and Development (ASAD) center is a registered, voluntary, non- profit organization established by the group of Dalit, Arunthathiyar and Adivasis activists in the year of 2004; with the objectives to create society where every person has the Rights to Life and Dignity and promote leadership at grass root level. We as at ASAD strive and facing challenges to achieve these objectives by bringing socially, educationally, economically and sustainable changes among Dalit, Arunthathiyar and marginalized communities in Western Region of Tamil Nadu, India.
