HISTORY
Action for Social Awareness and Development (ASAD) center is a registered under Tamil Nadu Society Registration Act 1975. It is a non- profit organization and was established by the group of Dalit who are Arunthathiyar and Adivasis activists in the year of 2004; with the objectives to create society where every person has the Right to Life and Dignity and promote leadership at grass root level.
We as at ASAD strive and facing challenges to achieve these objectives by bringing socially, educationally, economically and sustainable changes among Dalit, especially in Arunthathiyar and most marginalized communities in Western Region of Tamil Nadu, India.
